Teach Physics reflective reports
Teach Physics internships provide four-week school placements for undergraduate students to give an intensive experience of teaching physics. You can read the reflective reports from some of the 2022 interns.
“Through this internship I have discovered that I have a real passion for education and that teaching, whilst a rigorous and often emotionally challenging profession, is something that I am eager to pursue in the future. My [Teach Physics internship] was one of the most informative and eye-opening periods of time that I have ever experienced. By the end of my time there I had been made to feel incredibly comfortable and I was sad to leave. I feel like I learned an awful lot about what makes a good teacher through my observations and the lessons I taught. These qualities include but are not limited to good planning ability, the ability to build up respect in the classroom and the willingness to go the extra mile. Spending this time with such deserving students and such inspiring colleagues has made it clear to me that teaching is something that I want to pursue after graduating from university.”
