How to run a science ambassador scheme
A science ambassador scheme involves secondary students running their own science club.
A science ambassador scheme trains and supports secondary students to run science clubs at their own school or with local primary schools.
A STEM clubs handbook, produced by STEM Learning in consultation with the Trust, is available on the STEM website to provide advice and guidance to teachers planning student-led STEM clubs. It includes the why and how of running a STEM club together with an overview of a typical scheme and case studies from established clubs. It can be used in conjunction with our student handbook (available in word or as a pdf for printing).
Our student ambassador handbook can be used by students to collate their research, planning and delivery, to provide evidence towards a CREST award, Youth STEMM award or other accreditation.
