Northumberland County Council
Helping People Reduce Bills and Save Energy at Home
What is this project:
Northumberland County Council declared a climate emergency in 2019 and has an ambition for the county of Northumberland to be net-zero by 2040. One way to do this is to reduce domestic energy use.
How this project is useful:
We want people living in our properties to be empowered to reduce their energy bills while making sure their homes are healthy environments. So, we want to provide information about how to save energy at home.
Project outcome:

- Work with the Warmer Homes Team to assess which energy efficiency practices are most useful for council tenants
- Design digital advice content for publication on the council website (following review by the Warmer Homes Team)
