Biomass Heating Campaign
Reheat
What is this project:
The project will combine marketing, observations, and data analysis to demonstrate the environmental and efficiency benefits of regular servicing of biomass boilers.
You will collect data to catalogue and map biomass-fuelled heating systems. This will include who owns the system, the risks to these systems as they age and the potential impact of pro-active maintenance.
You will then use your results to develop and implement a data-driven marketing campaign promoting Reheat’s engineering operation and maintenance services. You will then measure the impact of this campaign. This project will develop your understanding of the link between engineering, data, and business decision making.
How this project is useful:
Reheat services biomass-fuelled heating systems to help them be more reliable, clean-running and efficient. To make the case for what we do, we need to quantify how many biomass-fuelled systems are in our area and the impact of maintenance work on system performance. The enriched dataset built in this project will support strategic decision making and future growth.
Project outcomes:
- Written report documenting methodology and findings and outcomes
- Produced a structured database of biomass heating sites, clients and systems
- Generated environmental and system performance insights from data
- Developed and implemented a technical and environmental marketing plan
