Research information to populate an Energy Visitor Centre on Ness Point.
Designing an Offshore Energy Visitor Centre
TMS Media is part of a proposal to create an Energy Visitor Centre that could be located at Ness Point, Britain’s most Easterly Point. The visitor centre will help to inform the general public about the energy transition in the Lowestoft area, but with a focus on the skills and careers that are available in the Energy Industry. The centre would also be able to draw on the social history and previous generations to understand the foundations on which our energy future can be built.
During the internship, you will research other “Energy Centres” regionally and across the UK You will interview several key individuals to learn about their perspectives on the energy transition. At the end of the internship, you will present a graphical representation of a potential layout for the Ness Point Visitor Centre and a report which can stimulate future discussion around the energy transition.
This could be completed as a team project with the intern for the CHPV project.
