Tide Medical

Building the Future of Offshore Wellbeing

We aim to help energy companies make sure that their offshore workers receive the support they need to thrive in the face of the unique challenges of their work.

So, we are starting Tide Wellbeing, a dedicated arm of Tide Medical focused on improving the health, resilience and mental wellbeing of offshore workers.

To do this, we will need to understand what offshore companies need from us.

This internship will provide two interns with practical experience in corporate wellbeing research, industry data analysis and functional health assessment software.

Aims:

• Gather and analyse quantitative data from a survey sent to offshore companies regarding their health and wellbeing experiences.
• Review current digital health applications to assess how good they are for monitoring functional health status and progress towards wellbeing goals over time. Identifying areas for improvement in these apps and gaps in what they can do.
• Produce a report on how Tide Wellbeing can use new software applications to meet the needs of the offshore industry.

To do this you will:

• Gather and analyse quantitative data on the wellbeing of offshore workers.
• Review and evaluate available apps for functional health monitoring and progress tracking.
• Investigate the feasibility of remote monitoring solutions for offshore workers.
• Identify links between functional wellbeing scanning data (e.g., Multiscan Pro) and offshore workers’ health outcomes by analysing data.

This is a team project.
