Accounting for our work – VAT or No Vat
We are looking to exponentially grow our offshore windfarm customers in the UK as the industry grows. To be able to do this, we need to know how much it will cost to support them.
A variable in our costings is within or beyond the 12-miles of the UK coast. This changes how much Value Added Tax is charged on their services.
Aims:
The intern will work alongside our team to draw the costings together into a bill of works that would be presented to the client.
As part of this work, the intern would seek to determine whether the individual work site (specific turbine location) was inside or outside the 12-mile limit. They will draw this information together to produce a report of the customers and prospects that fall within and without the 12-mile limit.
To do this you will:
- Desk Based Research, reviewing data and creating graphs and analytics
- Creating a database of windfarms within and without the 12 mile region
- Creating a final report that can be used open source by all companies
