Shell

Propose a renewable energy source which compliments the company's existing infrastructure to reduce its carbon footprint.

Renewables Project Concept Development

Shell ONEgas wishes to enhance their operational efficiency through improving their carbon footprint. The focus of this project will be on identifying renewable energy sources that will work complimentarily with the site’s existing infrastructure. This will help to minimise its carbon footprint.

The intern will spend time shadowing key engineers and staff across business units and taking part in light operational and maintenance tasks. You will have the opportunity to research the renewable energy concept, conduct surveys of the site, and hold technical reviews to evaluate the potential concepts. A supporting mentor will be available to assist you in your pursuits.

You will develop an evidenced suggestion for a renewable energy source for the site and present your findings in a report.
