Design and 3D print a replica of a generator

Generator 3D Printing

Recently, PPI Engineering have successfully developed of an underwater generator for the Minesto undersea kite. We wish to build a scale model version to show case of the design at trade shows and as a visual aid for training.

This project will enable you to get hands on with 3D printing, while learning the key parts that go into the design and construction of a generator. You will have to decide the best way to build the scale model considering materials, available equipment and the level of detail needed. You will also consider how best to turn it into a visual aid by considering features it could have. This could be something like removable parts or adding motion.

This is a team project.
