Design and 3D Print a Transport Case
After a previous intern made a 3D printed scale model of one of our generators, we need a stand and shipping system designed to help us showcase the model at trade shows.
Aims:
We need a way to display the model generator as well as make it rotate (any further modifications e.g. LED lighting would be considered).
We also need a robust case for transporting the generator to events without it getting damaged. Storage for spare parts and tools would be useful.
To do this you will:
- Design a stand and travel case based on a brief from PPI staff
- 3D Print and prototype your designs
- Produce a report on your process and results
