Peak Processing Ltd

Construct a system to monitor the energy usage in Peak Processing's head office.

Implement Energy Monitoring within Head Office

Environmental sustainability is important to us as a company but we have no coherent demonstrable monitoring. We seek a better understanding of the consumption of different systems as a good first step towards creating a plan to reduce consumption and carbon impact.

The aim of this project is to implement energy monitoring within our (Wroxham) office. We run a small data centre within our office – part of the project will be to look at active monitoring of some of these IT systems for energy consumption.

Most of the equipment has some form of energy monitoring within it. This project will aim to pull data from those individual systems and pull it together into some sort of dashboard. You will create either a functioning prototype system or, if this is unachievable in the time, a detailed design brief.
