Orsted

Create a careers brochure to show off careers in the offshore wind industry and Orsted.

Attracting the Future Offshore Wind Industry Workforce

Ørsted is a leading offshore wind developer in the UK and growing. In order to continue developing, constructing and operating offshore wind farms to support the Governments 50GW by 2030 vision and Net Zero by 2050 target we need to attract and retain a skilled workforce. Engaging externally is critical in raising awareness of offshore wind careers; which are largely hidden and hugely varied, to audiences of all generations. Ørsted’s interns will lead on the development and design of an offshore wind careers brochure in Ørsted brand and tone of voice to be used at external engagements.

During the internship, you will conduct desk-based research and interviews with key team members to gather information about Ørsted, its activities, and the types of work its employees do. There may also be opportunities to take part in site visits and shadowing of staff members. You will then review careers-related marketing materials and analyse what makes for a successful brochure. Using this knowledge, you will work with your supervisor and the Ørsted branding team to propose a resource for our company using our branding and tone. Once this has been agreed, you will create the final design for the brochure, ensuring it is visually appealing and informative.

This project will be running in June. Please only select this project if you have finish your college work for the academic year by or during June. This is a team project.
