Analyse and suggest improvements for the flow of tools in and out of HYTORC's facility

Service and Calibration of HYTORC Powered Tools

HYTORC offer a full line of superior hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric torque/tension equipment. We support customers with purchase, rental, service & calibration, and training requirements for bolting tools. Our facility frequently has tool shipments passing through as we make, test, and dispatch powered tools. The aim of this project is to review the flow of tools in the facility and suggest improvements we could make and how these could be implemented.

During the project, you will help in booking tools in and out of the facility. To support your research project, you will also have the opportunity to learn how various bolting tools work and are calibrated. There may be an opportunity for some bench work too. You will present your findings in a report which also details any decisions you made and your reasoning behind them.
