EEEGR

Create resources to inspire school students about careers in the energy industry.

Inspiring the Next Generation

People are our greatest asset. We need the industry to engage our future workforce to understand their potential in energy. You will develop a great network of contacts and learn about their roles, encouraging them to work with more young people.

You will work with EEEGR to deliver STEM activities to primary and secondary school students. You will inspire them with the jobs they could do in renewable energy. You will produce case studies of the most senior and exciting people in energy through interviews – previous interns have met industry leaders, Government Ministers, MPs, apprentices and had tours of major projects! You will translate what you learn into eye-catching and informative formats. You could develop a flair for written content, social media, graphic design or video. Our biggest aim is to help you become inspired; if we can do this your work will in turn inspire others.

During the internship, you will design and produce resources for careers activities. You will need to communicate your work effectively to all of the key offshore wind developers in the region and the toughest audience of all, school students!

This is a team project.
