Assess the carbon footprint of Armultra and suggest ways to reduce it.
Review the Effectiveness of the Organisation’s Carbon Footprint
Armultra provides high standards of quality, health & safety and environmental performance. However the business is aware that to bring its environmental performance to an even higher standard, the company needs to look at its carbon footprint and how it can improve moving forward.
The aim of this project is to look at the business’ carbon footprint by collecting data on energy consumption, waste disposal and water usage, and investigate how the business could improve all areas and help them work towards a Net Zero future. You will investigate this through desk-based research, observations of the site and interviews of Armultra’s employees. Your interviews will collect information on managers’ processes for their departments and workshops, and staff’s understanding of low-carbon operations.
You will demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of the company’s carbon footprint, suggest improvements, and demonstrate how these will benefit the business in the future.
