ABP
Investigate ABP’s progress on their sustainability strategy.
Ready for Tomorrow Sustainability Project
ABP are seeking to create a positive impact on the environment they operate in and on the broader society that they are part of. We are committed to becoming a Net Zero business by 2040 and supporting our customers to achieve their own decarbonisation ambitions. We are in a unique position to support the acceleration of the UK’s energy transition by providing the necessary port infrastructure to accelerate offshore wind, hydrogen and carbon capture and storage developments.
This project will consider one key aspect of our Ready for Tomorrow strategy (https://www.abports.co.uk/media/fo2ii2cv/abp-ready-for-tomorrow.pdf). Most likely this will be net zero, but could include air quality, biodiversity, or water. You will investigate what progress we have already made and make suggestions for ways we could make improvements.
