Market Understanding via Client Interfacing
RMi work with many other companies across the marine, rail, industry, and renewable sectors. We provide essential services to their operations, including engineering and operations & maintenance. We are interested in finding out how more about the requirements of our clients so we can ensure we are providing useful, valuable services for them.
The aim of this project is to understand the process of accessing client requirements and to establish the market requirements via multiple interfaces. This will include investigating the size of the accessible market in East Anglia and across the UK, investigating how the supply chain interacts with clients and their requirements, and assessing if the UK supply chain faces challenges accessing the international market.
During the course of this project, you will create a plan and script to collect data which can answer the questions we are interested in. You should consider multiple ways of collecting the relevant data, including using websites, media platforms and other ways we interface with clients. The research should consider both individual sites as well as entire companies. You will then need to normalise these data so they can be easily compared. You will then share your findings with the RMi senior management team.
