Investigate the operations and project management of the new Control Tower built in Lowestoft.

Operational Control Tower Diversification

Peterson SNS have introduced a new Control Tower at Lowestoft. The Control Tower will mirror the concept and technology currently being utilised within our Aberdeen business through the Torry Marine Base (TMB).

From the outset, the operational and technological interface will be scalable to support the site’s business needs whilst enabling a multifunctional client approach through the introduction of Lighthouse (a system which simplifies and provides clear direction from complex data).

Effective planning and ongoing communication will be instrumental to the success of this change and therefore, the project has been split into specific sections to ensure the risks are clearly identified throughout; each phase and the ownership of that stage is clearly understood and accepted from the outset.

The Lowestoft Control Tower will have been operational for about 4 months in Summer 2023. This project will focus on the tasks undertaken to build and operate the Control Tower in Lowestoft and highlight how risk management works when delivering and running a complex project. In particular, we are interested in looking at the operation from the IT perspective to see if we can adapt the software to support future development in the area.

This opportunity will help us to identify someone who has great IT Skills who could help to shape the future with the new Control Tower, enabling digital, data, and environmental efficiency as we continue to diversify in the different energy sectors
