Stores Operation and Organisation
This project will analyse and evaluate the current stores and stock control systems within our Great Yarmouth warehouse. You will be looking for inefficiencies within the area and systems, and should look to make suggestions for the layouts of stores, goods in/out, packing and quarantine areas. You should consider ways to consolidate and arrange outward shipments, either by company vehicle or courier.
We do not compromise on safety. Our business relies on us maintaining the highest quality, environmental, health and safety standards. You will be working under supervision, sometimes in an area containing high pressure vessels.
We would like you to investigate our stores and stock and provide a document detailing any improvements to the efficiency and systems we use. This project will provide valuable experience and highlight the importance of planning and cooperation in the workplace.
