Armultra
Investigate how Armultra organise and operate their yard and outside spaces, and investigate ways to make this more effective.
Reviewing the Effectiveness the Yard’s Organisation and Operation
Armultra provide the highest standards of quality, health and safety, and environmental performance to support a wide variety of prestigious clients. To maintain these standards, it is essential that a Business Improvement Strategy is in place which must incorporate strategies and programmes to review and continually improve their manufacturing, service processes and environment to ensure their market advantages.
As part of daily operations, our Yard and outside storage area are constantly in use. We often have large crane and vehicles moving around as well as pedestrians, which can pose health and safety risks. It is essential that use of the yard understood, coordinated, and controlled effectively.
This project will review the organisation of Armultra’s Yard and outside storage area and the operations within. The findings will be written into a report with any improvement opportunities identified.
Undertaking this project will provide excellent hands-on experience to gain a better understand of how this important methodology supports effective operations in a manufacturing in a heavy industrial environment.
