Established by Sir Peter Ogden in 1999, The Ogden Trust been supporting education for 25 years. Our mission is to increase the uptake of physics post-16 through projects and programmes that enhance physics education and engagement for all young people (4-18), particularly those in under-represented groups.

Monday 1Tuesday 2 July 2024
The Ogden Trust Physics Forum (by invitation only)
The Belfry, Birmingham
Celebrating 25 years of the Trust

Our Physics Forum and Partnership Conference for 2024 will bring together teachers, headteachers and many more of our physics friends to celebrate the past 25 years of the Trust and, more importantly, to reflect on the current physics education landscape and how we can best help to shape it going forward.

We will be joined by education experts and leading practitioners who will share their insights and experiences. These keynote presentations will go hand-in-hand with a series of workshops on the themes of inclusion, research, and creativity, community & family engagement, and there will be teaching ideas that can be taken straight back to the classroom by the teachers in our programmes.

We will be welcoming guests to the Woodland Suite from midday on 1 July. A buffet lunch will be available and delegates will be invited to visit our marketplace, where we will be showcasing physics teaching resources. The conference will start at 13.30. View the itinerary for more information.
