Orbyts evaluation
An in-depth qualitative evaluation (2023–2025) of the impact and expansion of Orbyts.
In 2022, The Ogden Trust awarded a three-year funding grant to the Orbyts programme, which partners university researchers with schools to empower pupils to undertake original research. As part of this funding, an in-depth qualitative evaluation (2023–2025) of the programme’s impact and expansion has now been completed.
The evaluation of Orbyts offers valuable lessons for the wider sector, especially those funding, designing and delivering scientist-school outreach programmes. The full evaluation report can be downloaded below, together with a summary report and a document including a literature synthesis and practice review.
