Exploring leadership and governance for physics outreach
A summary of the research findings into the leadership and governance of physics outreach in universities.
Between November 2019 and April 2020, a research team spent time with Ogden Trust funded physics outreach officers and the departments within which they are based to explore the nature of leadership and governance for outreach within their structures.
This report presents a shortened summary of the research findings as presented by Professor Richard Watermeyer, with a focus on the different leadership roles at play and the ways in which these are supported. An Ogden Trust narrative in response to the research findings has been included to enhance the context and wider use of the research.
