With fifteen years primary teaching experience in North London and Warwickshire, Kirstin is committed to supporting schools to provide equitable access for students to enriching physics experiences. As the co-ordinator for the first primary partnership in 2012, she knows first-hand the impact the School Partnership programme can have on students, staff and the wider community.

Kirstin is an advocate for keeping good teachers teaching, recognising the value of high-quality CPD to support practitioners in developing their knowledge and understanding of the physics curriculum, and in enhancing their professional skills. Kirstin developed the EYFS Science Talk resource package which has been accessed by partnership schools across the country.

Beyond the Trust, Kirstin is a pro-active Chair of Governors at her local primary school, supporting on key issues and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of education policy and practice. In addition to fostering curiosity in her two young children, she is a keen gardener, foodie and amateur astronomer.
