Science education CPD conference – that’ll be ASE

6 December 2018

The Association for Science Education (ASE) will be holding its Annual Conference from 9-12 January 2019 at the University of Birmingham, and Ogden consultants Jackie Flaherty (teaching and learning) and Amanda Poole (resource development) will be leading a session.

To find out more and to book visit the ASE conference website.

The Conference is Europe’s largest science education CPD conference, and is the most cost-effective, subject-specific CPD for all teachers of science. With more than 350 sessions and 2,000 delegates, the conference enables you to focus on your school’s priorities, develop your own subject knowledge and learn from other teachers.

This National conference brings together the best speakers and practitioners in one place, including Jackie and Amanda who will be sharing ideas for creative circuits and how to embed working scientifically skills in the curriculum across KS1 and KS2. Delegates at this interactive demo lecture and practical session will be able to try activities which will allow pupils to apply their knowledge and understanding of the curriculum content in an imaginative context. Jackie and Amanda will also be giving away free cosmic balls as part of their session.

You can sign up here for their session.
