Cameron Ogden

Chair and Trustee

Published: 16 March 2026

Cameron Ogden became Chair of The Ogden Trust in April 2017, re-affirming the Trust’s commitment to supporting and strengthening physics education.

“The Ogden Trust has been founded on very sound principles. We hope to build on that strong foundation and ensure we impact as many children wanting to pursue physics as possible. Physics as a subject has a huge importance in the world today and we must ensure that access to good quality teaching is about the ability to learn and not the ability to pay.”

In 2024, Cameron became co-chairman of Rochdale Football Club. He also actively supports other initiatives in the Rochdale area to raise attainment in education and outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. Cameron is a Trustee of SHINE, an education charity focused on raising attainment for disadvantaged children in the north of England.

Cameron has worked in several different roles in the finance, aviation and the charitable sector. He co-founded Puffin Point in 2019, a single-family office focused on supporting and investing in SME businesses in the UK. He is currently director of several of Puffin’s portfolio businesses including Selbey Anderson (Digital Marketing Agency), Blackbushe Airport (business aviation development), Wildhive (a new country hotel brand) and Valley Ridge (real estate development). Prior to this, Cameron founded and exited Blink, an air-taxi business (2006-2015), and worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. Cameron received an MA in Economics from Edinburgh University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School (2006).
