Chris is an astronomer who has worked on the Planck Satellite and the Herschel Space Observatory. In both cases, he has had significant involvement in outreach and education programmes both in Cardiff and around the UK, utilising his experience with education, outreach and the media. These days, Chris is focusing on applying his efforts to gravitational waves and other fields of physics research in Cardiff University. Chris organises school and public events in the department, and develops new educational and outreach resources alongside other researchers. He is also supported by an STFC Public Engagement Fellowship.
