As a partnership, our main objective is to improve the teaching, learning and profile of science in our schools and across our local area. By running CPD sessions for the partnership teachers can share great practice, which will increase confidence in teaching primary science. Through the development of our new science lab in our hub school, we aim to create a dedicated science teaching space that other schools can benefit from. We are investing in resources that can also be stored here so that they are accessible to the whole partnership: the lab will also provide a space to experiment with a science learning environment. Finally, we aim to host regular science leader network meetings to share good practice and develop science teaching together.

Events coming up for our partnership include: training in delivering specific programmes (such as Mission X); a ‘Science Week in a Box’; travelling resources for classrooms and visits from the National Physics Laboratory and other experts.
