Other Grants

Following a Trustees’ Meeting on 20 December 2006, all future one-off grants will be restricted to support for The Ogden Trust Schools Science Partnerships.
 
These involve federations of independent and state schools, their feeder primary schools, and their local university Department of Physics or Faculty of Science. The first of these partnerships was launched in Wakefield/Pontefract in 2005, the second in Bury in 2006 and further partnerships are planned as follows:
  • Preston schools/University of Central Lancashire
  • Coventry schools/University of Warwick
  • Liverpool schools/University of Liverpool
  • Oxford schools/University of Oxford
  • Bristol schools/University of Bristol
  • Birmingham schools/University of Birmingham/Aston
  • Bolton schools/University of Bolton
  • Nottingham schools/University of Nottingham Trent
  • Leicester schools/University of Leicester
