Ogden Scholars meet Sir Ian McKellen

The current Ogden Scholars at Bolton School were invited to a performance of Waiting for Godot at The Theatre Royal, Haymarket in London on 10 March 2010 starring Sir Ian McKellen.  They had the chance to meet Old Boltonian Sir Ian and other members of the cast and later went on to the set for photos and autographs.  Pictured with them in the front row is Professor Sir Harry Kroto, the Nobel Chemistry Prizewinner for 1996, also a former pupil of Bolton School and schoolfriend of Sir Ian.
