2009 Ogden INSPIRE PGCE students appointed at Imperial College
INSPIRE is an intensive 9-month PGCE consisting of a four week summer school at the University of Canterbury Christchurch, two terms of school practice and two months of off-timetable science activities. The participants have to complete two assignments at Masters level, each of 5,000 words and must have reached PhD/MSc level or equivalent by the time they enter the programme in September.
The three graduates being sponsored by The Ogden Trust are:
Nicholas Underwood Imperial College MSc (Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces), MPhys (Theoretical Physics) will be attached to Ellen Wilkinson School and St Saviour's and St Olave's School
Philip Lewis MSci Physics (First Class) PhD High Energy Physics will be attached to Heathcote School
Che Gannarelli University College London MSc and PhD(Property of Earth's deep interior) will be attached to Alexandra Park School and Henrietta Barnett School
