Yuan Yang to go on BSES Expedition to India
Yuan Yang, an Ogden sponsored student at Bradford Grammar School, has been awarded a £1,000 scholarship jointly by The Ogden Trust and British Schools Exploring Society to travel to Ladakh in northern India this summer from 17 July - 18 August.
Yuan will experience high altitude mountaineering and explore untouched habitats as an active member of a research team for five weeks. Known as the land of the high passes it is one of the most remote regions of the Indian Himalayas
